We leave from a dock just a block and a half from the Isla Mujeres ferry terminal, so once you’re on the island, it’s an easy walk. But if you’re not already here the morning of your tour, you’re taking a real risk with ferry schedules, traffic, and timing. And if you miss the boat — literally — we won’t be able to wait.

🕗 Group vs. Private Tour Departures

• Group tours depart promptly at the time given during check-in.
  We can’t wait for late arrivals, no matter the reason.

• Private tours offer more flexibility in start time, but you’ll still need to be on the island and ready to go when scheduled.

🚤 Pro tip: Private doesn’t mean “whenever you want.” We still need to coordinate departure windows with port authorities and sea conditions.

• Ferries from the Hotel Zone in Cancún do not leave early enough to get you to the island in time for tour departures.

• If you’re coming from Cancún, you’ll need to catch one of the first Ultramar ferries from Puerto Juárez.

• Guests traveling from Playa del Carmen or anywhere farther? You’ll need to leave very early in the morning — and you’ll still be cutting it close.

Bottom line: delays happen. Don’t risk missing your tour. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience — plan accordingly.
